First, the U740 in black is probably my favorite dumb-phone.
Sadly, no this won't be coming to VZW anytime soon. Vodafone outside the United States is a GSM carrier. They only own 45% stake in Verizon Wireless. It sucks cause this phone is gorgeous. My guess if anything is At&T
Are you kidding? The U740's keyboard is almost impossible to use and The hinge on the thing is really really weak. Flipping and Flapping in the breeze and in your pocket...
VZW could learn a lot from Vodaphone... especially when it comes to Proprietary Operating systems on their phones... I hate how they just throw away the phone makers sytems for their own piece of junk interfaces...
But they do have great service, if it wasn't for that, I'd be an at&t man in a heartbeat.
i for one dont use verizon but im pretty sick and tired of the "verizon doesnt have any good phones" argument, alot of carriers barely have any good phones, so can people refrain from that petty argument.
“We're grateful that RIM has finally decided to pay some attention to the sizable number of non-PC users that have been stuck with poor alternatives for way too long.”

Please say Verizon realizes that ALL their phones are UGLY... right? Verizon... you listening?
