The sprint and verizon phones operate on a 400 mhz processor. This one is 312 and runs on EDGE. There is no texting included on blackberry plans and to add wifi hot spots will cost you $20 more on top of voice plans, data plans, texting plans, and t-mobile@home service. I'll just wait for the 3G if it ever comes for the sidekicks.

James

Comments on BlackBerry Curve 8320 leaked on T-Mobile

Ahem, I actually have the VZW 8830 & cannot WAIT for this to come out on T-mobile next week so I can promptly cancel my vzw account & go back to T-mobile.

WHY you ask? No Camera is a HUGE dealbreaker for me, also the use of UMA & Wi-Fi means once & for all I can cancel my home phone service that I don't use for anything anyway. BUT mostly it's because I am tired of having $400.00 for a $169.00 rate plan every month with NO EXPLANATION as to why I am being DOUBLE billed. But seriously TRUST the Curve is a better phone that the 8830 & with vzw all the things you have to go through to change phones & you cannot sell your phones etc, is simply too much. The network be dayumed!!! Counting down to the 24th...

FyreStarrter

Comments on BlackBerry Curve 8320 leaked on T-Mobile

Enjoy your crappy voice coverage and web browsing when you don't have wifi ;-)

elgee02

Comments on BlackBerry Curve 8320 leaked on T-Mobile

I just purchased the T-mobile Curve This Sunday. The stores started to sell them early. All I can say is crash, crash, crash, crash. It makes a Sprint Palm Treo 650 look stable. The thing has a mind of its own, it resests, I get errors, internet will stop working. I will be using IM and it will crash and then say its missing files. I then have to take the battery out and restart only to have it happen in another 15 mins or so. Its possible I got a bad phone, but buyer beware

Rob

Comments on BlackBerry Curve 8320 leaked on T-Mobile

I've never had ANY of those problems, I dont even think you OWN this Phone>>>>

Galen20K

Comments on BlackBerry Curve 8320 leaked on T-Mobile

It doesn't happen to you, so I must be a liar. You must live your life based on simple logic. No need to name call. I did pay the full price $482.00 for the phone 449+tax because they only offered $50.00 credit since I have one year left on my agreement. $50.00 for an extra year was not worth it. As for the phone, it was defective, yes Galen20k phones sometimes are defective, even if it doesnt happen to you. I exchanged it and my phone appears to work fine at this point.

Rob
