WHY you ask? No Camera is a HUGE dealbreaker for me, also the use of UMA & Wi-Fi means once & for all I can cancel my home phone service that I don't use for anything anyway. BUT mostly it's because I am tired of having $400.00 for a $169.00 rate plan every month with NO EXPLANATION as to why I am being DOUBLE billed. But seriously TRUST the Curve is a better phone that the 8830 & with vzw all the things you have to go through to change phones & you cannot sell your phones etc, is simply too much.
