Wow, like, 3/4 of my post is missing.....odd, eh? To continue:
he or she knows, pretty much, how it will look--thin--and its features--barely present, but good enough, in general. Same for the RIZR. Same for the KRAZR. Now, the ROKR line seems to have a lack of consistency, here. There is no distinguishable look and the name seems to be slapped on any phone with an MP3 player so it can be passed off as a "music phone." As aforementioned, some consistency would be nice. But, hey, that's just a relatively minor "thing".
------------
Now, Motorola, I've been wanting to do this for a while, give you some good feedback.
Firstly, the designs of both phones are very good and, more importantly, not like the RAZR.
Secondly, the features of both phones are good very good and, more importantly, not like the RAZR. Also, the lack of 3G--if it is the case--is totally forgiveable, not every phone a manufacturer makes needs this, it's all about their target audience...although a 3G version of the E8 would be nice.
Thirdly, the innovation is great, especially on the E8. I know the E8 isn't the first phone to have dynamic hardware keys, but it has a very good chance of putting this in the main stream.

Job well done and you might have another RAZR in your midst.
