Motorola Z6tv gets detailed and priced by Verizon

After having been through the indignity of an outing by the FCC, a roadmap slip, and subsequent roadmap correction, the Motorola Z6tv finally looks good to go. Verizon has let it slip that the handset will land for $279 on one-year agreement and $229 with two-year -- both feature $50 mail in rebates, to boot. So, there ya have it, look for this handset to be in your local bricks and mortar in the coming weeks, if not sooner. Oh, and hit the read link to pop on over to the Verizon site where all the nitty gritty details are posted for your geeky pleasure.

Any word on whether or not this phone will be showing up on AT&T??
I will preface my question by saying I'm not trolling - I genuinely want to know:
Does anyone actually use Verizon's VCast TV service? Is it a success? I haven't been exposed to that much marketing for it recently.
Verizon has great customer service but can't seem to get their service offerings right. The features are restricted on the phones, i.e Bluetooth as well as music playing flexibility on formats plus the necessity of using VCast for a video service.
Even as we speak they are fighting to prevent open standards phones from ever being offered. They don't want you to buy a phone anywhere and then be able to take it anywhere you want and buy service and minutes. This is coming out out the bandwidth application by Google for auctioned airwaves. The USA has the poorest service of the First World nations because of this type of behavior.

Where is all the hype for this phone?? Personally I have been waiting for 4 months and I will be first in line...
Think so? Just make space on that line for the rest of "The Network" waiting for those "15 Phones to be released before the end of the Year."
....now, the "year" they refer to is anyone's guess...

Wouldn't it be great if AT&T and VZW could just get along? They're so similar when it comes to deploying things. I don't know what takes longer, for AT&T to release those WM6 updates or for VZW to release those WM6 phones.
Hah, ya.. I currently have ATT blackjack.. the WM6 upgrade wait is killing me.. I am hoping it comes out so I can at least see if its enough to keep me from reactivating my VZW line. I really hate ATT call quality and miss VZW.
I really wanted this phone, because I hate how everyone has a razr, but I wonder if it will be really hard to txt on this phone. I want the new EnV to come out, but it looks like that won't be until Thanksgiving.
The texting on this is REALLY simple. Well for me anyway, I send about 7000+ txt a month.
Assuming you sleep 7 hours a day thats a text message approx every 5 minutes of every hour of every day.. don't you have anything better to do with your time?
There is a GSM version out there. Its development name is the Marco.
