Hacked your iPhone did ya? Now, after the 1.1.1 update, you're looking at a non-functioning paperweight? Well, we've got good news for you just as long as you're willing to pay. Not only does the 1.1.1 iPhoneSimFree unlock released earlier unlock 1.1.1 iPhones, it also unbricks any iPhone including those unlocked by the Dev Team's anySim or iUnlock software. However, that requires registering your IMEI with IPSF resellers which requires cash in hand. About $100 beans but that's a lot cheaper than a new handset, eh?
I think people should wait for the *free* iPhone Unbricker just like they waited for the *free* iPhone unlocker
Fine. Keep holding onto your iBrick while the rest of them pay up the cash to resurrect their expensive paperweights.
Case in point: The free unlocker got people what they wanted out of the iPhone carrierwise. The unbricker will be the thing that saves iPhones, and if people will be paying for it... then let's say "desperate times call for desperate measures."
Any idiot that is willing to pay the $100 is a freakin idiot. Sure, your iPhone will be unbricked, but the next update will just brick your phone again. And then you're out of $100! You could always try the legit way, and buy a new/refurbished phone and not screw with it! The iPhone is amazing without people needing to screw with it. Again, anyone that pays $100 dollars will be out of their money after the next update. Best of luck, guys!
No, Anyone that updated their SIM Unlocked iPhones to the 1.1.1 firmware is an idiot. They were clearly warned not to update to the new firmware until the programmers got the program working on 1.1.1. If someone pays $100 to unbrick their iPhone, believe me they won't be updating to the newer firmware until the programmers say it's safe. They've learned their lessons.
Ya know, i am sure glad i never bought an iPhone. What a piece of junk, locking, unlocking, Apple bricking, AT&T junk system, huge prices, two wek price cutting, Rebating that nots money, Apple has really gone down the tubes or should I say drain.
