Any idiot that is willing to pay the $100 is a freakin idiot. Sure, your iPhone will be unbricked, but the next update will just brick your phone again. And then you're out of $100! You could always try the legit way, and buy a new/refurbished phone and not screw with it! The iPhone is amazing without people needing to screw with it. No, Anyone that updated their SIM Unlocked iPhones to the 1.1.1 firmware is an idiot. They were clearly warned not to update to the new firmware until the programmers got the program working on 1.1.1. If someone pays $100 to unbrick their iPhone, believe me they won't be updating to the newer firmware until the programmers say it's safe. They've learned their lessons.
