I actually got to try one of these (unlocked) with the TouchPal today, and it works great. The only thing left to fix is all the tiny menu selections and buttons in Windows Mobile. A LOT of those still need a stylus, even on the Touch. With demand for the device this high from carriers, HTC is definitely working on getting their TouchFLO devices past WinMo's deficiencies.

Alex

Comments on Rogers poised to launch HTC Touch?

I'm saddened that I'm the guy who comments on *every* *single* *post* involving Canadian carriers about how data plans here suck. Some day it might make a difference. Heh heh heh.

I actually wrote government bodies about the sad state of Canadian flat rate wireless Internet, and have tried various other venues. It seems pretty hopeless. I haven't played around too much yet but I fear the fact it doesn't have 850 is the issue. I didn't know NS only rode on the 850 range, I checked the specs and thought Rogers cross Canada was GSM 850 and 1900. Anyone any suggestions?

Mike
