Through recent research for a project I'm currently working on for a Canadian provider, the simple fact that LG chose to use real metal for the LG 'Shine's' production put it above its competitors. Even though it doesn't actually live up to its name, the fact that it didn't feel like a piece of plastic crap while handled did wonders for its first impression. An uninformed user who had no preconceptions of its function or the functions of its rivals would no doubt be marveled by its coldness to the touch and uniquely oriented exterior display....even if its technology and features are indeed more than likely two or more years old.
