Ok, here you go, the first rendering of Helio's new Mysto -- AKA, the Samsung SPH-A523. Looking every bit as fine as Samsung's U600 Ultra Edition slider (on the right), the Mysto busts EV-DO data, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, and a 3.2 megapixel camera up under that QVGA display while maintaining the U600's 10.9-mm thin profile. Date and price? In time friends, in time.
Shocker. I bought this phone a couple of months ago from some importer because I wanted to get a phone that was uncommon. Paid extra to be different (silly me). I knew that as soon as I got it, some carrier would subsidize and make it cheap for the masses. Oh well...at least it's just Helio. I mean, who has Helio?
Two douchebags who define who they are by the phones they use. Uh oh, other people have the same phone as me, now I can't express my unique form of individuality! I feel trampled by the unwashed masses!
that doesn't make any sense... we never said anything about being cool and unique cause of our phones... just that we wanted a phone different from everyone else... you're reading way too much into it...
This looks nice, but I'm still disappointed that a phone company that bases so much of their business on unlimited texts/internet, that they still only have one qwerty option.
I was hoping they'd go for something more like the Samsung u740 or a qwerty slider, but I'm guessing that would be too much competition for the more expensive Ocean and the new Fin.
Boohoohoo! Now heavens forbid other people might have the same as me! This is terrible, only sheep have the same phones as other people, wahh wahh wahh!!
That has to be the dumbest shit I ever read on this site.. people actually getting upset cause now some still tiny MVNO is launching the same phone they paid way too much money for.
“The basic layout of the HD2 is uncluttered and uncomplicated, providing only a few hardware buttons, and leaving the rest of the navigation up to that beautiful screen.”
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

same, i guess im gonna have to buy a new phone now...
Aww, I'm so sad you two can't be unique and cool anymore...with your phone. Life is rough.
@Damien
Nobody said unique and cool were synonymous, but I'd rather be unique then follow the herd. Have fun being a sheep.
Last time I checked it was more about who were. Not the phone you have.
