AT&T's Sony Ericsson W580i now in black

Nothing new here but an AT&T color update friends, so if Sony Ericsson's sets don't give you the warm fuzzies, feel free to move along. We've seen this fella in Style White at the AT&T shops but if that Saturday Night Fever-white thing wasn't working for you, AT&T've thrown up Boulevard Black as an option. Same specs, same price, and new color, happy friday.

How about we put the color changes on the back burner until they fix the keyboard issues... SE are you listening?
Too late, AT&T! I'd been waiting for this phone for months, but after all the reports of bad build quality, and the announcement of the T-Mobile Shadow, I'm no longer interested. Too bad, too. That phone is still very sexy!
Aw man! I just bought the white one. I was waiting for this color too. This should've been out a week ago. It's too late for me to exchange now since I submitted my rebate. Oh well, I'm pretty satisfied with the white one anyways.
Well I got my black version in the SF Bay Area on October 19th, three days later than Engadget predicted it would hit early this month. So we get the announcement a week after it's out already?
Scout650, if you got your phone from an AT&T corporate store, direct mail, or online, you can still return it as long as you have the box, receipt and it's still within 30 days. AT&T doesn't require the bar code to be on the box. The rebate center waits 30 days anyways to see if you return the phone.
They probably won't take mine back though, I flashed it with SE's firmware. Would it still be possible to return it?
I doubt the rep would bother to turn the phone on... worth a shot. They'll reload the firmware anyway...
I just got the black/orange one a 3 days ago. I love the color and it somewhat matches my Mylo in color scheme. It was hard to find too! I never thought AT&T stores would actually carry it for quite a while, but they had it in store before it was officially on the website and I saw another customer carry one out.
The next day I called almost every AT&T corporate store in North East Dallas and they had sold out... Cept one....
Went up there, 25-30 miles away and it was mine!!! I LOVE IT!!!
I do not plan on using the number keys very much... I'm gonna use the upper navigation pad for contacts and Walkman/menu control. I'm not a big texter and I don't enter in new numbers very frequently. Sony Ericsson does know about the cracking issue... If my keys do crack, I'll probably take advantage of the 1-year they give with it... Or hope AT&T makes it a GoPhone or get another GoPhone.
is this phone better than the black berry pearL?
