More shots of Motorola's crazy morphin' MOTOROKR E8
It's not available for a few months yet, but far be it from that little snag to stop a few enterprising individuals to get their paws on a MOTOROKR E8 early (and, of course, being close to the country of manufacture probably helps). The lack of 3G is a real dream killer for us, but that wild keypad still looks like it could be a winner. Enough tactile feedback? Only time'll tell.

this phone was in fergie's "clumsy" music video

That totally is it. Fergie: 1. She has a good taste in phones as far as showcasing them in videos goes. Although I viewed it in a low quality youtube clip, I believe she had a VZW Moto Maxx ve in "Big Girls Don't Cry." Fergie: 2. And another for the song. Fergie: 3.

Back to the good stuff, phones. Yeah, this phone has a lot of potential as I've said from the beginning, but, like Fred correctly said, it'll probably be released when it's obsolete. I really hope not, I really think this could revive Moto. The keypad is very innovative--not to say it hasn't been done before, the concept it just innovative and NOT overly done, yet. And, again, I can forgive the lack of 3G, I really don't use it that much, anyway. I use my 8525 (ZOMG! ancient now, I know!) for teethering, anyway. I'd love to see Moto take it's number two spot back from Samsung (sorry, I just plain don't like the company, it's "inspired" way too often for my taste).

BTW, dydy, I like your name. I first read it as dydx as in dy/dx, the first derivative. LOL
Finally, Motorola makes something that deserves some eye-attention. Everything else they make looks like total crap (to me, anyway). Piano black gloss is where it's at!
Will it make it to the US any time soon though, that's the real question. It'll probably come out a year from now and be obsolete.
