so does anyone know if there will be a touch screen keyboard to text on this may sound like a stupid question but i had to ask

Jordon - not a silly question, important one actually. The 10th picture in the gallery is a snapshot of the instructions for acessing the web with the Voyager. The instructions tell you to use the virtual keyboard - which usually means a touch screen keyboard, but I could be wrong. A stylus would be nice touch and would confirm that there was a vitual keyboard.
no. it has a qwerty that pops up but only to enter web addresses. if you desire to text from the front screen, you'll need to use t9. though i don't know why you'd want to text from the front, as you've got a full tactile qwerty keyboard inside.
The placing of the space key seems really ill-advised, especially for users migrating from other QWERTY devices.
the space keys are like that on the enV as well.

It is because of this that I won't buy the enV or the Voyager. I want my damn QWERTY keyboard to have its keys in the right spots!
where should the space bar be? between the V and the B? Obviously LG doesn't want to make it longer on the bottom or make the keys smaller so it has to fit it in somewhere other than on the normal keyboard. its not a terrible choice, but a necessary one for sure.
i converted from a u740 to the env, haven't had any issues with texting. Change is frightening, isn't it?

Can anyone answer these five questions?
1. Phone service + EVDO + Mobile TV = how much per month?
2. Is Mobile TV "Real" TV? Or is it the crap Sprint says is TV?
3. What are the battery life estimates?
4. Can i put my own music and ring tones on it or am i forced to buy Verizon's?
5. Release date?
1. for $25 you can get evdo and tv. voice plans start out at $40.
2. I can't speak for sprint but all the reviews i've read of vcast mobile tv have said it's really good.

4. normally you'd have to use the memory card to transfer music/tones/pictures from your phone to your computer. but this phones coming with a usb cable so i'd bet it would be a little more iphone-esque meaning you could easily move things around. but yeah even if you cant, you can still use the memory card to move data.

Sprint TV is not TV, just streaming video, same as orginal V-cast that came out 2 years ago.

Yes, it uses the same charger/data cable as the Chocolate, 8700, enV, etc. :)
While it IS the same charger port, you won't be able to use the headphones from your choco with this phone. You have to buy 2.5mm headphones/earbuds that fit into the headphone jack on the side of the phone.

Matt, I'd like to text from the front screen using t9, I can type 10x faster using that instead of those little tinny qwerty keypads.
Trying to found out how the LG Voyager will sync with my calendar and contacts in Entourage for Mac. So far my best option has been a Palm based Treo and the 700P is still $250 after all my loyalty discounts and rebates from Verizon.
1. Does anyone know how the calendar works?
2. Can I put shows from itunes on it via the memory card?
3. Does one have to subscribe to get internet to use it on this phone?

Does it have java? If I can deploy a jar to it, then at least that could be one way...
