Well I think it makes sense for Verizon to offer more "World" phones. While the consumer demand for international roaming is very very small. The demand for large businesses and government I would think would be fairly high. I really see Verizon offering these kinds of services to compete more with AT&T. I also wouldn't be surprised if Vodaphone starts renting or selling these phones for people traveling to the US from Europe. Since Vodaphone is a Verizon Wireless business partner that happens to own 45% of the company it'd be in their interests to cut down on roaming.
