If it plays actual PSP games, uses an HD instead of those retarded UMDs, and has good software to interface with a computer, they would do well and fix all the current problems with the PSP.
Stuff magazine did a section this month on their dream gadgets for 2008. As mentioned in the article, that's where this mock-up and the earlier report of "new" Aibo came from. Both are fake by the magazine's own admission.

if they put a big enough hard/flash drive in it, they could go ahead and drop the UMD format since Sony is now starting to put full former UMD games up on there PSP Playstation Network (www.store.playstation.com). i realize this is just a mock up but that thing is pretty sexy.
