In fact, more megapixels stuffed into the same-sized sensor will produce worse images.Bigger, brighter, higher quality lenses and larger, lower pixel density sensors are what makes a better camera, and will give you better images.Unfortunately those things are expensive, so marketers work to convince the simple minded that more megapixels = better pics.
