PointUI makes Windows Mobile finger friendly
It may not be the first time we've seen a really attractive replacement UI for Windows Mobile -- nor the first time it's been redone in a more finger friendly format -- but Pointui may just be the cheapest ultra pretty skin on the market. The asking price of "free" is music to our ears for the program that adds a touchable "Applet Ribbon," one-touch access to frequently used features, and a home screen that refreshingly doesn't look like it's straight out of 2002. Microsoft, you guys paying attention over there?

If you combine this with TouchPal and SPB Pocket Plus's new finger scroll functionality, then you have a winner!
That's how I've been using it and it rocks!
It sure needs to mature in features, but hey I'm not complaining!!!
Pretty nice quality for a free product!
As someone said, Microsoft should learn from these guys!
Cheers!

This is a great looking interface, but its still very young, and there are a lot of bugs and many features that would be very great to have, but are missing. Once it matures and develops more and (hopefully) stays free, I have no doubt it will the best replacement UI for Windows Mobile devices. But until then (maybe version 2.0) I would wait on it.
I installed it yesterday, and I like it. A few things on my device (like shortcut hard keys and volume rocker, email notification for hotmail) don't work when the program has the main focus, but it's still a fairly intuitive interface for a brand new, free product.
I'm sure over time these buggy things will be fixed...and maybe a feature that allows you to change/add the shortcuts on the home screen
I love this app so far. Sure there are a few kooky little things for for a first effort it is great and the developers on their forum like to interact with users and seem to want to make this thing work great. In fact there is a minior update already, but some people have reported problems with it. Good luck. :)
Anyone know how to do an OTA install of this? Currently activeStink does not work for me
Installed it...
Played with it...
10 minutes later I remove it. Nothing but CRAP!
Why not elaborate a bit on that?
Gotta love free...
I like it, I tried it on a few phones at work... Im sure it has bugs, but its still "young" like fozy said above... I'd like to see more customization, but hey.... its free.
If you had vista, you wouldn't have to worry about activesync... *sarcasm*
I love it. So far I love everything about it.
I've never been this excited about a phone app since SlingBoxMobile.
So far, blows spb pocket shell out of the water imo. If you have a windows mobile pro device, you simply have to try it. It's a unique interface, satisfyingly finger-friendly, and very snappy on my 6700 running wm6.
My new favorite app!! This is very nice. Just a few minor bug fixes and I could use this full time. Microsoft should learn from this.
Wow. This eliminates my need for a stylus 80% of the time. Definately would reccommend this app to everyone.
This is the best App I've tested in quite some time. Very finger friendly... BTW - I'm using a Sprint Mogul
