Come on now. First of all NO U.S. Carriers have any phones with that many megapixels. Verizon has one with 3.2. You know how much a 5 megapixel camera phone would cost? Anyway I heard that it's actually coing to be Sprint's first phone that uses Rev-A instead of Rev-O. This thing will blow the I-phone out of the water with speed. No, if I wanted to pay top dollar, I'd probably be with a different company. Sprint gives me good service for a good price, so I put up with things like inadequate phone selection (so far). A 5MP camera would be nice, since it's all that's really needed for 4x6 quality prints. Heck, it probably would have taken my current camera out of it's job! It also would have made this phone so expensive that I would not have considered it. I'd love my phone to run on a OS X architecture, but I'm not going to pay an arm and a leg for it. Same for the 5MP.

I'm holding onto Sprint because I figure that the iPhone would cost me around $1000 for 2 years of service (start up cost + increased monthlies). If Sprint's replacement for that is too much money then I'll just go ahead and get the iPhone. 5MP was not a deal breaker and Wi-Fi is not a deal breaker. The iPhone has Wi-Fi primarily because 3G sucks (according to Steve Jobs it is because it sucks battery life, but AT&T's 3G network still sucks period). It would be nice... but the price point is going to be more important with Sprint than those two features alone.

M@ Smith

Comments on Sprint prepped to launch Samsung SPH-M800

Anyone have a release date for the phone b4 I buy the Pearl 8130?
