While I have not had this happen to me I do know what you are saying. Its tough not knowing if today is the day you are going to be escorted out the door. When I left Sprint it was on my own accord but I watched many of my freinds and collegues being walked out in my 6 years there. I told myself that day I left that I wouldl never compromise my ethics or my values for a company. I was a Legacy Nextel employee and its a shame they wouldnt give Tim D a chance. If there is ever a person I would go back for it is him. He had value and knew how to treat people in order to make them enjoy comming to work everyday. Sprint take over was the worst day of my life. When SK Telecom comes in and rips them appart they will learn what I felt. Merger of equals was only a saying. It was mearly a leagal way of killing off a great brand that had a lock on a particular customer that Sprint wanted. The reason they could not get the customers in the first place was they didnt know how to treat them. Now they got them and look they are all heading for the hills. Do you think there is a reason that they had to buy those customers rather then aquire them naturally. Its cause they didnt want to have anything to do with a company like Sprint. Nextel always was as small player in a big world but at least they made money every year.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
