I don't know why people keep saying that WMWifiRouter and JoikuSpot are not viable for daily use. I've used WMWifiRouter for a month as my exclusive iPhone connection to the web... works absolutely fine and I don't have to do anything to hop on the web... just keep my regular Windows Mobile phone in my pocket.
(On a sidenote though, I think you meant to say "locations with Wi-Fi hotspots", instead of "locations with tethered Internet"... Engadget may have gotten over the FUD that this process isn't tenable to use on a daily basis).
I get 3G speeds, and, best of all possibly, I don't have to burn $20 a month for AT&T EDGE service.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
