They're giving away free phone to celebrities in the hope that the celebrity likes it, makes a point of mentioning that they like it, that those comments are covered in the media and that people actually care what Halle Berry or whoever actually thinks about mobile phones.
It's just a waste of money for limited-to-no return. Like I said already, they should try making decent phones instead, it'd be more likely to get them customers than this shallow attempt at what amounts to bribery.
