The ASUS "Galaxy Mini" -- slow, but small
It's not nearly as interesting as the mighty M930, but ASUS is prepping another Windows Mobile model that'll appeal to a decidedly different segment of the market. The device, codenamed "Galaxy Mini" and clearly intended to do battle with the HTC Touch, looks to be just about as diminutive as you can realistically expect a WinMo 6.1 Professional device to be -- though the tradeoff is that 3G data doesn't make the cut (you'll have to rely on WiFi for that) and the TI OMAP core mopes along at a molasses-like 200MHz. Other goodies should include GPS, Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, and a selection of colors when it launches for somewhere between 300 and 400 (about $445 to $593) later this year.

why would they bother with such a slow processor. how fast is the touch?
Might be a slow processor but I bet it does video better....
The GSM Touch (HTC Elf) is 200 MHz with 64MB of RAM and also has wifi but does not have 3G.
The CDMA Touch (HTC Vogue) has a 400MHz processor with 128MB of RAM and has 3G, but not wifi.
The Touch Dual (HTC Niki) is tri-band GSM and has a 400MHz processor with 128MB RAM and 3G (2.1 GHz).
The Touch Cruise (HTC Polaris) is quad-band GSM with a 400MHz processor with 128MB of RAM, wifi, GPS, and tri-band worldwide 3G.
Looks strikingly similar to the O2 XDA Orbit II (HTC Touch Cruise)
What's the point of it having better video with such an ANEMIC processor? There out to be a LAW lol!!! SAD!!!
