Palm Centro now official on AT&T
Wow, sure enough, those green buttons are straight up legit -- who'd have thought? The long-rumored GSM cut of the Palm Centro is now officially available on AT&T in the wake of Sprint's expiring exclusivity, giving a whole new world of customers access to the freakishly small (yet strangely adorable) Garnet handset. Unlike Sprint's version, the GSM Centro tops out with EDGE data for a moderately less snappy browsing experience; otherwise, though, your $99 on contract is going to buy you a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth 1.2, support for AT&T's push-to-talk service, and a full (albeit miniaturized) QWERTY keypad. So who's liking this more than the white / gray scheme we'd seen before?

i like the green... just not as much as the gray. =D
only EDGE? HA!

For $400.00 retail no way. I would just go with a BlackBerry.
I like the green a lot. This is my favorite Centro yet.
I'm loving my red Sprint Centro, but they can't seem to get my billing straight. So now everyone can get the phone with much better customer service, LOL.
I like the green, but would never buy an Edge-only phone.
This has XM? So I'm hoping car docks are soon to follow. If so, I'm in for 1.
Wait. Only 25 channels? WTF? Nevermind. I don't want.
Lucy and Ethel are the only 2 XM channels I listen to, so this centro would be alright... no wait, for some reason that makes not a lick of sense this phone doesn't have 3G. Nevermind, this sucks.
Palm Centro - Glacier White
I guess AT&T plans on launching different colors to satisfy those who don't like the green keypad.
I will admit it looks a bit odd, but nonetheless it is unique.
Oh no... scary green buttons. Color? My Eyes! What's problem? Just enjoy that is not BLACK! jeeze.
Where's the freaking wifi?
"No WiFi", "No 3G" Damn! What do you expect? It's $99 at launch!
So for the same price, I can get a Blackberry, or cheaper a Treo with more features?
no WiFi, no go. Although I like Palm platform.
