So this phone is going to have both Wi-Fi as well as GPS?! I thought RIM wasn't putting to 2 together in any phone (each carrier was going to have separate models for each - e.g.: 8310 vs. 8320)

That may be the case for the Curves, but not the 88xx series. The 8820 on AT&T is a WiFi + GPS unit.
