How about WLAN "WPA Enterprise" support, such as 802.1x (EAP/PEAP/TKIP) authentication? (Already on Symbian S60 WiFi devices such as the Nokia N95).

802.1x good to go, and custom apps too. Xcode and SDK is free, but you need a $99 ADC subscription to distribution apps through the iTunes App store. For businesses that want to develop in house mobile apps, this looks like the solution to beat. Salesforce's demo looked pretty good.
