Pearl 8100, original RAZR on their way out of AT&T stores?

Next -- and here's a shocker -- rumor has it that AT&T is also starting to close the door on the original Motorola RAZR V3. Not to worry; naturally, you'll still be able to get those great circa-2004 looks by picking up a V3xx, but the old-skool units appear to be on the verge of overstaying their welcome. Frankly, the writing's been on the wall there for a year, if not longer, so we're not sure that this is much more than a formality. We'll keep you updated on this one as soon as we here more.
[Thanks, Kal and Matthew]

i found about the Pearl yesterday. im pretty sure TMo will do the same soon for the 8120,
on the RAZR's im quite cretin they will be around, after all, why would they offer them for $100 on Pay As You Go. of course if you walk into a AR, they wil give that to you for free...
The RAZR is getting old. However it's still a pretty good phone, and a durable one!
... but it is as useful as an unpatched windows machine.
Of course gotta love those.
VZW needs to do the same thing with the RAZR and give it the boot. They day the V3M goes "End of Life" I will be a happy happy man.
And to Alpha Team: The RAZR a DURABLE phone?!?! Since when? The RAZR is one of the easiest phones to break out there.
good luck with verizon cancelling this phone...they will run it into the ground even further than ATT, since they can charge you for crap like VZ Navigator and all the other vzw crap they offer.
Except dave that makes no sense. VZW has a lot of other phones they sell they can offer services such as VZ Navigator on.
The reason they are still selling it is because customers for some unknown reason are still buying it. Put your VZW haterade aside and try to think objectively.
End of Life was 2/15/08
how do we kno when the object for giveaway is done
Don't diss the V3xx, it is the best RAZR 1 around. The camera is great, and the UI is even prettier and faster than the original's.
