Chris, considering that everytime the iPhone's software is jailbroken, it will certainly be on main Engadget AND Engadget mobile, why isn't it the same for Nokia? This has been hacked for the FIRST TIME and the iPhone has been jailbroken MANY times yet you post it on main Engadget every single time it's jailbroken. What is your beef with Nokia, seriously?
Actually, I've been a diehard S60 user for some time, and my current daily phone is an N95 8GB (in fact, my dirty little secret is that I don't even own an iPhone). I understand what you're saying, but philosophically, bypassing app certification is a smaller step than overcoming the inability to install any apps at *all*, which speaks to the jailbreaking situation on the iPhone.
“It's rare if a month flies by without some random university or DIYer proclaiming that the next major jump in battery technology is just over the horizon.”
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
