Can someone please enlighten us on some of this? AFAIK, the 3GPP line goes like this: UMTS -> HSPA(HSDPA/HSUPA) -> "HSPA+" -> HSOPA (emphasis on the letter 'O') Japan's "Super 3G" is just "HSOPA", right? And what exactly is "LTE"? Is "LTE" just a general term for 4G technology, basically referring to HSOPA and whatever comes after it? And if everyone else calls LTE/HSOPA 4G, why is japan calling HSOPA ("Super3G") 3.9G ?
