Yeah the N95 8gb that costs twice as much as the current iphone. That should be taken into consideration when you laughingly rip the iphone. I think spending $800 on a phone is absurd.
If I remember correctly, that was the exact "break down" Apple used when they came out with the iPhone, and people still complained about the price. Get used to it.
Sure you can break it down all you want, but when it comes to actually putting the money together for a $779.00 phone (as it is listed on the Nokia site) it's a huge investment. No one goes out and buys a phone, an mp3 player, & a pmp at the same time.
Fool. The n95 8gb is unlocked and can be bought for $540.
Ziegler, why are you bashing creatures of the deep? You have no right considering that you're just another Apple fanboy like the rest of the Engadget team. "Philosophically"? Pfft, go buy some more Apples, fanboy.
I'm not even American and I know that. Besides, $800 is only about £400 which is why you see about 10 n95s in any direction you look over here... Maybe that's because our networks are half decent...
Is it also a requirement that you talk like an idiot, fool? I guess it is $580 on the Dell website so that is better, good job on browsing the web euro!
And you should consider that where ever Nokia really is playing you get N95 8GB with 2 years contract for free.... Thought for a NA customer price might hurt when non of the carriers have it. I think it's still absurb for many state side customers to buy phones like N95, but it's just culture difference. Europe has been the number one spot always for mobile phones with Nordic companies(Nokia and SE)having over 50% of world mobile phones market and people think that mobile phone will be the las device that wraps it all together. Most of the NA market just wants free Razr.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

$800 (well, $700) for a *phone* is absurd.
However, break things down:
MP3 player - $250
Phone - $250
PMP - $400 (yes- you can watch movies on a 3" screen)
Not so bad now.

where can you buy the N95 for $540? The back of your van?
Dell, fool.

LOL you do know Americans are the ones stereotyped for being stupid?
Good luck finding a mildly decent phone over there while being charged for receiving calls/texts!
This isn't about stereotypes, you are what you are. I do not have money coming out of my a$$ to spend on a phone that has no insurance.
Wow, I think I wandered into a Youtube thread...
