any particular reason why in america, it's rare to find a camera as high as 3.15 mp, but in england/europe you've got more 5 mp cameraphones than you can shake a hi-res stick at?
Because Americans are cheap. If they knew what phones cost unsubsidized they would freak out. So they are happy buying the garbage that their carrier will sell them.
theres that, and the fact that our pay-monthly plans pay for the minutes, whereas on vodaphone for $40(twenty quid, my laptop doesn't have the GBP key) can get you a total of 75 minutes, 150 texts, and a decently spec'd phone. whoopde-freakin-doo. i love how phone carriers never get it quite right...
