BenQ T60: 8.9 millimeters, 3.2 megapixels
LG may be about to deliver the thinnest device at 5 megapixels, but at 8.9mm, BenQ's new T60 is holding down the 3.2 megapixel camp with some serious hotness. The slick candybar features a 2.2 inch QVGA display, "high quality media player" (whatever that means), integrated radio, 24MB of onboard memory, and microSD expansion -- you know, for actually making the camera and music player useful. BenQ's touting the whole package as being "affordable," too, which makes sense considering that the data flow appears to top off at measly GPRS speeds. Look for it to launch in Taiwan, Turkey, and Bangladesh this month -- quite a hodgepodge of countries if you ask us -- this month.

bleh, benq. I'll buy NOTHING from them, I'm still crying over what they've done to Siemens Mobile ;_;
I agree, things were looking great when the EF81 was released (still a really good handset shame about the lack of support it got) then they go ruin things.
This looks ok, bit bland (like most BenQs). Certainly don't like the, normally, bottom row of keys being on the side, that layout was used on the Samsung P310 and isn't very easy to use.
That's a fine looking phone. But beauty's only skin deep & unless there are some serious radios (850, dual HSDPA, etc) beneath that "next top model" shell many folks won't take a second look.
According to GSM Arena, this thing only has GSM 900 & 1800. No EDGE, no 3G, and certainly no WiFi. Looks pretty crappy to me as far as the specs go. The phone itself is pretty, but Anthony has it right: beauty is only skin deep on this junker.
Dudes, this is a bit of an old news :D Some "other" websites covered it since the 2nd of April. Not that it would matter too much.
The phone looks cool, too bad about its downsides.
I think it not benq's fault
gobenq!
it's so cheap, i think ill get one for my mum.
nice n' slims for my kickass red jeans
