I wouldn't believe that price, I've seen many tags at BestBuy print up the wrong things before. The whole bestbuy sign systeis a POS system anyway
How about let us buy the phone today?... I'll pay the regular price.
I also just got back from BestBuy (I'm an employee there) and the Glyde is no longer in the system, it has been taken out.
Does anyone have any idea when Verizon plans on selling this? I'd be happy to buy it!
"...a buck or two for the priviledge of sporting ..."
I hate to be the grammar Nazi...but come ON. Your own comment system underlines it in red.
No, you're dead right, idiocy at its finest. Fixed.
Chris
I do realize that my comment is only--barely--tangentially related, however, is it just me who thinks of some dark teal-colered, mythical large flying beast on a dark and stormy night when he hears the name "Glyde"?
Perhaps it's just the spelling. As "Glide," I think of a nice, smooth spring assisted device.

....I never made any claims on my relative level of sanity. I guess I am just way too visual. The difference spelling makes. This (random) assemblage of sentences has to be the least cohesive, most unorganized "paragraph" ever. *shrugs whilst walking away*

Oh yeah, to comment on the phone. As to not start of any inter-telecom rivalry, I will attest to the fact that that phone's form factor can most aptly be summed up in one word: bitchin'.
Right on derX, I spent decent time playing with this bad boy back in early March and in a heartbeat I'd take this over the Voyager (and I am an LG fanboy, see my name?)!
yeah, i'm an employee too, definitely an error... it's not priced in the system yet, doesn't have a release date either...
I agree with the other comments. No way this thing gets released for free on contract. It is either a system glitch, or a hoax.
This isn't the first issue Best Buy has had with misinformation, or mis-timed information on this particular phone.
I work at a Best Buy Mobile Store, and thats exactly whats in our sign system as of today when I checked. So I assume that that price may be exclusive to BBY Mobile Stores and not regular Wireless Departments.
So does that say $25 for a 1-year contract, and $99 for no contract? I'm pretty sure this is a mix-up.
The sign is a fake
