Nokia E71 sneaks into the wild once again
Nokia's having a bit of trouble keeping its E71 QWERTY business phone under wraps, with that initial sighting in January, and now another couple in-the-wild shots to keep us interested. If anything this serves confirm those previous shots, but it's nice to see some autofocus on this 3.2 megapixel puppy. If our powers of badly-translated Chinese deduction are correct, the third picture of the set could be the E66, but we're not jumping to any conclusions just yet.

I can't wait! I haven't waited for and wanted a phone so badly since my 7610. Bring it already!
I would say that they're doing a pretty stellar job of keeping it hidden, actually. Two 'sightings' in the span of nearly five months? It sure would be nice to see one without the chrome though, since that's so-gen-one-iphone.
Looks like it took a lot of chrome cues from the E51, not the iPhone

Is it me or that page is not loading? I tried even the original one without the Google translator an it tried to load for over an hour. I had to kill it. Tried several browsers too. I just want to see the photos.
US 3G PLZ
One killer phone. If it has the battery life of the E61i I'm so in for this......
i just noticed the same thing.. i was looking at that 'o' symbol.. oakley?? then i realized it was the lens of a sony ericsson phone!!!
funny that he is using a sony phone to take the pic
Nice eye evilpaul. Let's see some 3G love from Nokia on this one. I'm gonna be honest here. It doesn't look very wide at all. In fact, if the supposed dimensions of this are correct, its narrower than a Blackjack II. I don't know about the rest of you, but i'm not down with that at all. I liked the fact that the E61i's keyboard was so spacious.
Huh? That's the first thing I noticed. The SE logo.
I currently have both an E61i and a BlackJack II. Although I definitely prefer the E61i keyboard, the BlackJack isn't as bad as it seems. My only complaint with it is OS-driven and it's the lack of keyboard shortcuts for foreign characters and for quickly scrolling through pages (vertically) or words (horizontally), which is all available in the E61i.
What does concern me about making the E71 narrower than the E61i is not so much keyboard size as it is screen size. The 2.8" screen is one of my favorite features of the Nokia.
That being said, if I had the choice of E61i-size or BJ-size keyboard on the E71, I'd definitely go the wider way. Wider is better, said Pontiac.
is it me, or does the phone look a bit thick on the bottom? Where are the ports?
it's supposed to be 11mm thin, but the bottom looks a bit wierd indeed.
%"%&% cant they just release this and E66 already. Damnit!
This thing is really really good looking!! Just bare a while;-)
You would think it would be an update to the E70 butterfly phone.
But, noooooooooooooooooooooooo
i know nokia won't do this... but it would be so awesome if they debuted their s60 touch with this phone... i mean, the ui is very straightfoward and business-like, just like this phone... i think it would be a great option
I actually saw one of these yesterday in the bus here in Finland. One smooth looking phone.
