Rogers has had this for quite a while and honestly, if you look at it, you're better off getting a 0 dollar phone on a term and pay like $5 more instead of paying 10 cents a minute otherwise...or even activating a phone you already own on a month to month plan. Personally I'm biased against pay as you go, in the long run, contract or not, it's way more expensive unless you only use it a couple times a month and don't text at all...

yes, but some people have very large deposits so it's hard fro them to get contract plans
