Every designer who puts a proprietary charge connector should be tied down with those proprietary power/sync cords and slapped with a trout, for at least 2 days, or until they swear they won't do it again and sign a binding paper.
Yeah, Samsung used to have both a pin-style connector, as well as a flat data/charge port. Now their phones ONLY have the flat connector, which kind of sucks.
Anyways, I like how Motorola uses a mini USB port for their cell phone charge connector. Seems to make sense as it's a fairly common thing to have as most digital cameras come with the same cord.
I agree, I just wish they'd all use the damn USB mini.
