AT&T WiFi access now listed as "included" with iPhone
We're not exactly sure what was going on with that whole on-again / off-again love affair with iPhones having gratis access to AT&T WiFi hotspots, but we're content with letting bygones be bygones. On the slightly tweaked iPhone "Plans" page, the carrier now lists "Access to AT&T WiFi hotspots" as an included feature along with call forwarding, 3-way calling and Caller ID. Sure, it's not a bona fide press release, but same difference, right?

Update: Oh, ha, it's gone again. We have a feeling it'll be back soon enough though.

Could this be in regards to the hot spots being set up at Starbucks? I know the TMob had similar phrasing in their data plan...
so for $119.99 you get unlimited voice, data, email, and hotspot wifi but only 200 text messages....
you'd think they throw that in for a truely "unlimited" plan.
Who cares? Anybody concerned about iPhone download speeds is going to upgrade to a 3G iPhone in a month...
It's been taking off the website. But thanks for the screen-grab.
Note that it says "Access To...", that doesn't mean unrestricted web browsing. I have a funny suspicion it only means wifi access to iTunes and not necessarily web browsing...
