I'm not sure about the Diamonds colors but the iPhones resolution is 320 x 480 (non-VGA) and the Diamond is listed at 640x480 VGA. The screen resolution is better on the Diamond, by the numbers. Maybe the 3G iphone will jump it's former but right now the Diamond has a better resolution. Compare them side by side and it's an easy difference to view.
I'm not hating on the iPhone at all, just pointing out the specs difference listed by HTC and Apple.
