Portability is not an issue AT ALL. At least for me. First, the included leather case is pretty awesome, its the first time I was ever able to use one for more than a week. Second, its thinner than a tytn II, which is a top seller, and I don't see people bitching about its portability.
The only thing is that it's heavy because of all the metal used on the device, but for me thats a huge plus, it doesn't feel plasticky like the tytn. It feels very sturdy and expensive, definitely doesn't feel like a cheap toy.
