Of 200 iPhone 3GS users polled in August, 2009, 99 percent termed themselves "satisfied," with 82 percent saying they were "very satisfied."

Perhaps. But those prices are before any discounts/rebates for signing a contract. Look at the Curve's price: $600. But the Curve can be had for as little as $180 (w/ MIR) on Sprint's website. The prices for these Q-Chat phones seem about "mid-range" or so (maybe less).
