Video capture still crippled. I'll bet the US will be getting the X1a model.
Video capture The camera also records video and which are stored in the phone or on a memory card. A video clip can be shared with friends or family as a picture message or e-mail, or using any available transfer method, such as Bluetooth™. The phone supports VGA size video recording at up to 30 frames per second. •MPEG-4: 30fps at VGA* •H.263: 30fps at VGA* •H.264: 15fps at VGA* *X1a model supports MPEG4, H.263 24fps encoding at QVGA only and not H.264
If i remember right, the iphone can't even record video out of the box. but what caught my eye was this: "Audio: MP3, AAC, AAC+, EAAC+, WMA v9, AMR, MIDI .m4a, .m4b, .M4P, .m4v, .aac, .3gp, .mp4, .mp3, .mid, .wma (wma playback only through Windows Media player)"
Apparently it plays protected itunes? and if it still has photoDJ like all other sony ericsson phones, you can remove redeye.
