T-Mobile Netherlands taking names for MDA Compact IV
We know the wait's hard, guys, but look at it this way: one wait is actually ending -- the wait for an official waiting list -- while another is beginning. T-Mobile Netherlands customers are now welcome to put their name down to express interest in the lovely MDA Compact IV, T-Mobile's branded version of the HTC Touch Diamond WinMo superphone. There doesn't seem to be any indication here as to exactly when the retail floodgates are going to open up over there in Amsterdam, but it's a start.

A couple of days ago it was already known that T-Mobile is to announce the MDA Compact IV today for Europe. This event takes place in München where one of our journalists will report and take some exclusive photos of this killer.

Having a stylus AND Internet Explorer mobile on a promo ad isn't exactly the best publicity you can get for a phone in 2008.
Whoa that's a sexy Diamond.
Several Dutch webshops say they are expecting the Diamond around 6 or 7 June, prices range from about 460 to 530 euros.

The T-Mobile version will most likely be cheaper than that though, as is usually the case with branded phones.
There is a rumour that the T-Mobile version wont have wifi, which sucks tremendously.

That looks like the Touch Diamond, without the Diamond.
Strange - in the picture it looks like it has WM5 !
Where's Opera 9.5???
The Dutch T-Mobile picture above states:
"Geintegreerde 3.0 megapixel camera met zoomfunctie en flits"
"Flits" means "flash", so the T-mobile branded version wil have flash, while the unbranded version doesn't, strange.
