I know the US gets dead last cellphone tech most of the time, but having a device in mid 2008 with Bluetooth 1.2 is pretty cheap/lame. Even a basic device now can stand to update to atleast 2.0, but this isn't some cheapo candybar phone. 1.2 has been around since 2003, 2.0 since late 2004, and 2.1 since last year.
Granted the adoption rate is slow and not many companies have upgraded to 2.1, but using tech from 5 years ago in you're fancy new touch screen phone? I need a new phone as my contract for the past 2 years just expired, I considered the Vu until, no WIFI and BT 1.2. My 2 year old phone has more advanced technology.
I've also yet to having any luck with pricing from att's website.
