When are we going to get a release date for this phone? I hope that ATT gets it before Rogers cuz my phone is barely functional and im just waiting for this to launch.
Opera Mini is an awesome browser experience, too bad there's still not a way to view flash and java apps. 9xxx would be nice if it handled more video file types.
yes, I second that, now that Apple has dropped their bomb. Also an AT&T customer so I would hope to see something before iPhone lands there.

what if i really want this phone, but i have an iphone? i can just use my sim card with this and the iphone correct? i am concerned about the package though. since i pay 40 for the "iphone package" (unlimited text & browsing) does anyone know if i will also need to purchase a "blackberry package" or if its just a standard at&t package?
an iPhone and Blackberry SIM swapping scenario isn't going to work too hot with the iPhone SIM. For a Blackberry to function, the SIM has to be placed on a Blackberry Plan. This makes it so it actually runs on a different network segment than typical phones. So you can use a Blackberry SIM in a regular phone, but not the other way around. I have my Windows Mobile phone registered on the Blackberry network so I can use ActiveSync or Blackberry connect. The iPhone on the other hand complicates things a bit. An iPhone won't work with a SIM unless it's been activated in the phone, or you Jailbreak it. So the only shot at using the same SIM in both phones is with a Blackberry enabled SIM. The only shot of using a Blackberry enabled SIM in an iPhone is by Jailbreaking it.
I thought the 9000 was coming out on Verizon but it's not listed...is that only a list of the carriers being released on that date, and the Verizon model will follow a couple months back?
