My Kyocera Smartphone doesn't have GPS and now Verizon won't let me move its ID to my spare -- the Smartphone plastic starts to crumble after a while around the keypad.

Centro may be the right answer to replace both of them with one device.

How much memory/storage can this thing handle? Memory card?

Does it run all the Palm apps?

Does the screen dim down very low like the SJ30? Or only to "low glare" like some of the other Palm PDAs? Vital for reading in the dark and conserving battery life.

Details please.

Oh, and how hard is it to read holding it in one hand? Vital for reading on BART when standing up. Sony's thumbwheel is perfect; is the Centro able to be handled so PageDown is doable?

I own the Glacier White Centro with AT&T, and I have to say that it's been the best phone I've ever had. The battery life is crap, but everything else is amazing. I'll be using mine for quite a while.]]>Jul 13th 2008 9:50PM
