T-Mobile makes Sidekick LX update official, rollout starts this week

It's not very frequently that official availability of anything -- be it hardware or software -- ends up beating the rumors, but that's exactly what has happened here. Hot on the heels of some whispers that a big, fat update for T-Mobile's Sidekick LX would be dropping on June 25, we've gotten word straight from the carrier that the rollout will actually be kicking off some time this week. Video capability, an integrated alarm clock, stereo Bluetooth support, and a host of other goodies make this a worthwhile upgrade, so let us know when it finally hits an LX near you, alright?

This is awesome after I spent 5$ on a stupid alarm clock the phone should have came with in the first place!!!

is not using the space bar some new internets hip thing to do? because it's really really stupid.
So since the LX and the Slide were about the same are we going to see the same update for us Slide users?
Well I got my update this morning for my sidekick lx and it is GREAT I LOVE THE NEW VIDEO MODE AND I CAN FINALLY BLUETOOTH PICTURES,MUSIC,AND VIDEOS WITH MY FRIENDS.
its gonna be sooo cool duz any1 know when the update will come to arizona
its july 29th and im still waiting, the keep extending their dead lines, first it was july 15th then it was july 30th now its augst 30th
So Is Ther anyway to find when or around when they'll send u the upgrade like is a certain order or r they just sending them out ?
Will there be an update for Sidekick Slides?
wtf are they gonna upgrade the slides ? or do i have to send a complaint to tmobile becos it is NOT right that LX users get to have upgrades and SLIDES dont . it makes no sense . who cares if it slides and has small buttons some of the stuff on slides are better then LXsz so you tell me wtf is goin on cos i have more then 20 friends who have slides and they are a pain in the ass when it comes to complaininq
its august 19 and i havent gotten my sidekick ots updates yet.what is going on? im gettin impatient.
i got my update a while back about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I was one of the first people to recieve it. A friend of mine got hers this weekend and i my boyfriend still has not recieved it. We keep hearing all these different techniques in how to get it but they arent working. Now we're hearing theres a deadline. I did hear that there will be an update for the slide however if you noticed tmobile.com is no longer selling slides because they are going to discontinue them.
i have a slide but no internet or web how can i get the update?
