Is it really possible to have too many pictures of RIM's alleged next-gen 2.5G device? Wait -- don't answer that. Curve owners and ravenous RIM fanatics ought to click through to get a solid look at the Javelin from every possible angle, but to the rest of you: check out the goods at your own risk.
Well, the lack of HSPDA is only rumored at this stage - maybe it does launch with 3G. I'm sure you're correct that in the US this will be a T-Mo device. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it also launches on Verizon and Sprint, where it will definitely be 3G, just like the current Curve.
if there is "still more Blackberry Javelin shots", why do we need to see them? If you keep saying that, why do we need to know? there have already been photos giving every angle so wht, we need to see it again? C'mon chris, get a better story
I just checked, and it turns out this is a phone blog. You know, a place where we obsess about these sorts of things -- and believe it or not, there are people who care about this level of detail, particularly on an unreleased handset. No one's putting a gun to your head and demanding that you read this post, much less comment on it.
Although I do feel like posts about another SE candybar borderline spam I don't feel this one was. It's a perty pic so I didn't mind. I am partial to qwertybars though...
I like it, but I wonder how changed it is from the Curve? I wish the photographer would show us some side-by-side pics with the Curve, and also turn it on so we can see if it has the juicy 9000 screen, or a more current-gen screen.
Overall, I like the RIM is expanding their portfolio. Now, we'll have: - A full-featured business phone (90XX to replace the 88XX) - A consumer suretype flip (91XX, new form factor) - A consumer qwerty (93XX, to replace the Curve) - A consumer touchscreen (95XX, new form factor)
The only device still missing from the 9XXX generation is a new suretype candybar Pearl. Surely they're not replacing the candybar format with only the 91XX flip?
If I was a betting Canis, I'd say we'll soon see some "leaked" photos of a new candybar suretype device: 92XX, anyone?

wow, this thing really looks great, its just that it appears to be a little on the larger (but slimmer) side, especially when sitting next to the 8800. for now, im very happy with my curve, but i dont see this replacing it. im sure in the near future the blackberry lineup will look something like this...
Suretype Devices - KickStart and Pearl.
Full Qwerty Devices - Bold, Javelin, Niagra, Curve
Heck, u never know, there is always the possibility of the pearl and curve to be boosted up to a 90XX series version.
ok are the displays on the Bold and the Javelin the same? i know the resolution doesn't change, but what about the size? the one on the Javelin looks way bigger, in my opinion, which is, of course, better for reading text.
“We're grateful that RIM has finally decided to pay some attention to the sizable number of non-PC users that have been stuck with poor alternatives for way too long.”

I thought AT&T front man Ralph De La Vega said back in April that the entire smartphone line lineup was to be 'all 3G within a few months'
So does that mean this will be a TMobile phone?

"I just saw Some Kid get drop kicked in the face by The Truth"
Sounds like an And 1 video.

Gorgeous-Gorgeous-Stunningly-Gorgeous!
IMO, it looks cheap, but i feel the same way about the Curve
