wow, the phone hardware is butt-ugly, uglier than the default Windows Mobile programming emulator skin that you get in MS Visual Studio (the geeks will understand).
Out of an Available 5 OS design and function: 2.5 Hardware: .02 That womans hands: 0
Frankie, I'm confused. You say that the phone's hardware is butt-ugly, but then compare it to a software app? Hmmmmmmmmmm
Have you seen this handset in person? I have and I can tell you that it is a great looking device.
Besides, when the screen is not lit, the display is mirror like, so maybe when you say it is a butt-ugly device, it is your reflection that you truly see and not the device.
Hey everyone, let’s give it up for JunkJugget, it took him 3 paragraphs, but he finally got to the punch line; me being ugly.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought we were entitled to our own opinion (at least in America). Especially my self who actually owns close to a dozen smart phones totaling about $7k, I’d have to say I at least know a little about this topic.
To respond to your post: The device, to me, is aesthetically unappealing. It looks like it wants to be a Smartphone, but does not want to be compared to one. Sort of like me dressing up like a cop, waiting for a crime to be committed, then getting mad at the victim for running up to me.
Well, in detail, based on the currently released specs the device is fairly thick, and based on a recent Engadget article the US version will be .5” thicker? WTF!!! lol. And I guess a 3” display is ok, being that it DOESN’T really have a full featured web browser, so who cares, right….
When you look at the Samsung Omnia, or the iPhone 3G the device mentioned above can be seen as a total waste of money. Oops I can’t compare the two, it’s not a smart phone, I forgot. Well compared to Moto RZR this device is great!! Only because the RZR does not have a mirror-like reflective display. lol I’d prefer to use the forward facing camera on the Omnia anyway.
Hey frankie, the phone is .5 inches thick, not thicker. And as for the actually web, check what I already wrote. It does have the FULL web on it, looks just like it does on your computer, you just have to change the settings. See, it has multiple settings to ensure the person can see the web how they want.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
