Sorry, to hear that buddy. I know VZW has a limited selection, but I'm sorry it had to come to this. Hopefully you can cut your losses and sell it on ebay.
@Frankie
What?
I feel the VZ nav is a weak item from vzn. THe phone look ssmooth and seems to run pretty fast though. I actually like the glyde better (even than the voyager (just because of the nice small size.) Though I know people who are unsatisfied with the KB because its not exactly conventionally placed. I am jsut not into the GPS, and its a big deal to me. I am liking the Instincs nav though. I still have to get my hands on one though to really check it out.
@ Frankie...
Careful bud, your fanboyism is showing. According to the specs, the Dare is a great little "feature phone." It is also on (arguably) the best network in the country. I'm sure the phone will do just fun, despite certain fanboys unwarranted distain.
@ SPOKE...
What the heck did your post even mean? Random babbling about VZ Navigator and two phones that have absolutely nothing to do with the Dare. Have you used a Dare? Have you even seen or read about the Dare outside of this blog post?
@ Paul Miller...
Was the jab about the browser necessary? Sure it is no Safari, but it isn't a WAP browser either.
what about pricing for non- two year agreement?
FYI, Verizon is working on BREW Opera Mini for future phones.
Anyone know if this unit will play streaming video?
Like YouTube or other compatible formats?
On the VZW website it shows that it doesnt have getitnow
@ Nick
Get it now is called Media Center on newer phones now..
hope someone hacks this soon so i can use the free gps it comes with and not pay $10 for verizons vznavigator : )
