I have always preferred black/dark phones, but I am seriously considering a white E71 to replace my E61i.
What is it about the white that you did not like? I mean, would you normally like a white phone better, but there was something in particular about this one that turned you off? Is the plastic very smooth and shiny or is it porous and prone to get quite dirty with use?
Mostly a personal preference, but the black just seems more cohesive and more high-end, while the white makes it look a bit cheap. Not very cheap, just enough to matter. Nothing tangible though, so go with what you like more from the photos.
