With the iPhone 3G, you can use your normal plan with the added $39 iphone data plan which gives you unlimited data. So I have no idea what your talking about by jacked up phone plans. The data IS $10 more for the 3G at $39 a month. But that is what everyone pays for unlimited data on PDAs and Blackberry units anyways. So now us iPhone users will pay just as much as everyone else. We are not getting ripped off.

Christopher Cox

Comments on Apple orders 50 million iPhone NAND chips from Samsung, rest of world put on hold?

No Chris the plan is not good regardless of how you spin it. I know the plan is 39.99 plus the 30 data that makes it $69.99; then you add the text messaging. This is nickle and dimming the consumer. Trust me I am not new nor am I on the Mobility side of the house.

The1

Comments on Apple orders 50 million iPhone NAND chips from Samsung, rest of world put on hold?

@The1 - How is this different than getting ANY OTHER PDA ON AT&T? For my Tilt, it was $39 for unlimited data PLUS $19 for unlimited text messaging! So since its like this for other PDAs on AT&T why single out the iPhone saying they are ripping you off? Its just $39 PERIOD for unlimited data. And no, that does not include text messaging, but that is no different than the way IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN.

Chris Cox

Comments on Apple orders 50 million iPhone NAND chips from Samsung, rest of world put on hold?

No I am not new to ATT. Sprint chargers $15 a month for unlimited data on all pda blackberry is 30 but come with unlimited txt and picture, video messaging also if you want to make it $30 for all pda on sprint it includes unlimited data everything.
