I wonder if by hiding some of these tabs it reduces the lag I've seen in videos and read about in reviews when switching between tabs. If anyone's lucky enough to have the Diamond and installed this utility, I'd love to hear if you've noticed a performance difference. Hopefully the US carriers will make this a standard feature. Also hope developers can add their own tabs (sports, sling, etc.).
For all the crap WinMo gets, there's no denying the development community around it. Within weeks of the Diamond launch and this fix is already out there. With the iPhone the developer would have to be accepted into the developer forum and get the utility approved by apple before allowing it to go on the store (not counting the year between the iPhone launch and application store launch). The Diamond or Touch Pro will definitely be my next phone.
